Danny Hargreaves said: “We are hugely surprised but utterly thrilled to have won an Emmy for our work on Sherlock. We were up against some hugely talented people who work on very popular programmes, so we’re honoured to have won it. Thanks again to the creative Sherlock production team and of course the the brilliant writing of Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat who continually encourage me to push the the boundaries of what can be done practically.”

Carmela Carrubba said: “We were definitely not expecting to win so we couldn't believe it when we heard the result. A lot of work goes into filming a programme such as this so it’s great to see our team being recognised for their work.

It was only a few years ago that we hired Dewi as our Special Effects Apprentice and now he’s an Emmy winner! We work closely with Sgil Cymru to bring new talent into this industry and it’s great to see that our apprentices are forging successful careers following their apprenticeship.”
