REAL SFX win at the BAFTA Craft Awards 2020

Real SFX are truly honoured to announce that we have won a BAFTA Craft Award for our work on series 1 of His Dark Materials in the Special, Visual and Graphic effects category!

It’s the 3rd time our Cardiff based team have won this Internationally recognised award. We are truly delighted to win this year particular at this testing time for the film industry.

We share our award with the incredible crew at FRAMESTORE & PAINTING PRACTICE, and the hugely talented RUSSELL DODGSON.

It has been an absolute pleasure working on this spectacular show for the past 2 series with a fantastic production team. Many thanks to Badwolf, Jane Tranter, Julie Gardener, Dan McCulloch & Laurie Borg, and a special thanks to the creative team Joel Collins and Robin Paiba.

Of course, we also have to congratulate the amazing team at Good Omens, another phenomenal show we were thrilled to be nominated for in this category.

Congratulations to MILK VFX and GARETH SPENSLEY at MOLINARE who we were delighted to share the nomination with for Good Omens. What a tough category with a whole host of ground breaking shows, any of whom would have been a worthy winner!
