Alongside Milk VFX & BBC Wales VFX, Real SFX have won a British Academy Television Craft Award for our spectacular special effects on BBC’s Doctor Who in the category of Special, Visual & Graphic Effects for the second year in a row.
The 2015 British Academy Television Craft Awards ceremony took place on the 26th April 2015 and once again celebrated the very best behind-the-scenes talent in British television of the past year. The ceremony was again hosted by Stephen Mangan at The Brewery, City of London.
2014 was the first year that the British Academy Television Craft Awards has recognised the work of the Physical Special Effects within this award category and Real SFX had the honour of winning this award. It was a great priviledge to win this award for the second year running.
Within the category the other nominees were Ed Bruce, John O 'connell & Nicholas Murphy for Ripper Street, Colossus Productions & Vision 3 for David Attenborough's Conquest of the Skies 3D and Vine FX & Colin Gorry for Atlantis.
