While duties vary from production to production, the work includes:

running the production office on a daily basis;

organising/managing crew;

breaking down scripts;

purchasing equipment and supplies;

dealing with travel and accommodation bookings;

sorting out enquiries and other paperwork;

attending production meetings;

typing and distributing call sheets;

dealing with accounts, budgeting and expenses;

with xero knowledge creating quotes for each job;
-
working closely with Producers & Exec. Producers on production;
-
setting up relevant insurance cover and helping with visas for crew;
-
maintaining the company’s fleet of vans by insuring and taxing annually;
-
delegating work to other members of staff.
